ANNA ZINKHON
for Campbell County Judge Executive
Professional, Farmer & Business Owner,
Community Leader

Anna Zinkhon is a lifelong resident of Campbell County.
Anna's professional career started in the IT departments working for Scripps Howard, Kroger and Chiquita Brand International. At Chiquita, she was part of the team that re-built the brand’s worldwide IT infrastructure. She capitalized on the opportunities to learn solid and professional business practices and developed a keen appreciation for unfailing customer service, quality delivery and optimal return on investment.
She lost her husband, Greg, in a tragic automobile accident in 1996. So, after 20 years of corporate work, made the life-affirming decision to combine her entrepreneurial spirit and love of horses to become a small business owner. She founded Misty Ridge Farm, a full-time training and boarding service facility located near Silver Grove. At Misty Ridge she provides a nurturing, horse-centered environment where she teaches adults and youth how to properly care for and love their animals.

My campaign is about helping people learn how their county operates and to be the conservative spokesperson of their county government. This campaign isn’t about me. It’s about us—we the people of Campbell County.
A few years ago, our County wanted to install a forced main sewage line across my farm. I decided to fight for my rights as a landowner. I discovered how hard it was to get the information and help I needed. Along with a group of other concerned landowners, we worked directly with SD1 and found a better solution that ultimately saved the County rate payers $10 million.
I’m running for Judge Executive so Campbell County can do better at helping its residents, to be transparent about how your tax dollars are spent and to give credit where credit is due.
People ask me why I would want to put myself in public office. My answer is simple: I want to give back to this amazing County. But it’s also because I have seen things… unfair and unchallenged things done by government. I’m not seeking a career – I just want to do my part to even the field for all residents in Campbell County."
